R. C. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Formerly known as R.C. Patel College of Pharmacy established in June 1992 with the aim to enhance the quality education in the field of Pharmacy and empower the quality pharmacist so that they serve the society to develop lifesaving drugs. Right from its establishment the institute has maintained the quality with assurance in terms of Accreditation from National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi (NBA) twice on 2005 and 2009 for the B. Pharm course.
Saraswati Education Society was founded in 2003. SES’S Yadavrao Tasgaonkar group of institutes came into existence in the year 2005 and became one of the upcoming institutes in a span of 5 years. At present, there are 3 campuses comprising 10 institutes in an area of more 125 acres at Chandhai (Karjat) amidst mother nature to provide a much needed educational atmosphere. Nirma University (NU) was established in the year 2003 as a Statutory University under a Special Act passed by the Gujarat State Legislative Assembly and has stepped into 10th glorious and progressive year in April, 2013. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has recognized Nirma University under Section 2(f) and the University is also accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

We extend our cordial invitation to attend DBT sponsored 5th National seminar on BIOINFORMATICS to be organized by SVIMS Bioinformatics Centre, SVIMS University, Tirupati from 14-15th February 2014. The main objective of the National conference is to bring together scientists, researchers, students from academia and corporate companies to share their informatics research experiences in the field of molecular modeling and drug design. Moreover, the participants will get opportunities to enlighten their bioinformatics skills to implement in their respective research field. Researchers will also be encouraged to present their research works.

To apprise the participants with the recent methods of molecular dynamics simulations which lead to the successful design of proficient, precise and non-toxic small-molecules through guided practical training.
The School of Life Sciences (SoLS), previously known as Manipal Life Sciences Centre, is identified as TIFAC-CORE (Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council - Centres of Relevance and Excellence) under vision 2020 in the area of Pharmacogenomics. SoLS is actively promoting advanced research in India and abroad. Research and developmental activities are also supported by DBT, GOI in Translational Medicine, ICMR, DST, BRNS and several other industry partners.
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi, the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the world. As early as in 1911, the Government of India set up the Indian Research Fund Association (IRFA) with the specific objective of sponsoring and coordinating medical research in the country. After independence, several important changes were made in the organisation and the activities of the IRFA.
