Skin minimalism is a trend that is essentially all about loving the skin that we have and letting that be the focus (rather than hiding it behind layers of makeup).
It’s a philosophy of skincare that adopts a minimal approach by letting your skin shine through. That means not hiding your perceived “flaws” such as natural freckles and instead allowing your natural features and complexion be your hero look.

Part of skin minimalism puts a focus on utilising products that really benefit the skin so you don’t feel the need to cover up or wear as much make-up. The practice of reducing the number of products you use on your face sits within the theory that your skin will then have the ability to repair and rejuvenate on its own.

It is more sustainable as it encourages buying less products so there’s the sustainability benefit of less packaging and less product going into the waterways. It also encourages choosing multi-purpose products rather than a multitude of products which means lowered carbon footprint.

Skinamalism, too, can extend beyond basic skincare. Instead of putting a full face of makeup involving foundation, concealer, contouring, highlighting, and a host of other products, skinimalists embrace natural and “no makeup” looks that enhance their features, rather than cover up perceived flaws and imperfections.
The idea of skinimalism has gained popularity, as people become more aware of how their skincare choices are impacting the health of the planet, as well as their own skin. By reducing the number of products you use as part of your skincare routine, you not only benefit your skin but also save time, money and the planet from unnecessary chemical and plastic waste because you’re using fewer products for longer.

We, at Formulation Section of Kumar Organic Products Limited developed many products which have approach of Skinimalism. Few products for Skinimalism are as under.
One such product is Carrot Dew, a Face Mist, which is sprayed on face and wipe with tissue paper after few seconds. It does following instantly.
- Cleanses and removes,dirt,dust,grime,pollutants and any make up residue.
- Makes you feel fresh &rejuvenated.
- Makes the skin soft & supple. A velvety texture comes to your skin.
- Skin is moisturised
- Nourishes your skin and scavenges free radicals due to antioxidants present in it which are essential part of Bioferments derived from Carrot.

So, it does so many activities. You just require a little product as spray to do these activities and to transform your skin and make you feel so good.

Procedure :
1. Weigh phasesA & Bingredients separately in abeaker.
2. Add phase B to A Continue the stirring.
3. Add phase C by adjusting the pH. Mixwell.  Allow the batch to cool&settle.

Another product that can be used for Skinimalism is Anti-ageing Cream with Kopuchiol.
This cream is having Bakuchiol, a natural analogue of Retinol and it can be used on skin type anytime for following.
- As it contains Bakuchiol, it can be used even on sensitive skin unlike cream containing Retinol.
- It can be used even in day as Bakuchiol is not sensitive to UV rays as Retinol.
- It can be used to moisturise your skin routinely.
- It can be used to take care of any sign of premature ageing and also works as anti-ageing.
- Bakuchiol present in the product is derived from plant source so it is natural.
- It is safe to use during pregnancy unlike Retinol.
Thus just one cream can be used for so many purpose and is actually a product that serves multipurpose activities.

Antiaging Cream with Kopuchiol

*QS to pH 5.5- 6.0

Procedure :
1. Weigh phases A & B ingredients separately and heat to 70-80°C.
2. Add phase B to A with continuous the stirring.
3. Homogenize the mixture for 5-7mins at 5500rpm.
4. Add phase Cto the Phase AB,Mix for 15-20 minutes.
5. Add phase D to adjust the pH. Mix well, allow the batch to cool & settle.

These above two products does the job effectively & efficiently, proving the fact that one does not need so many products, if one multifunctional product does the job. So these are the true example of Skinimalism to have healthy, glowing complexion.
