Applications are invited for the position of SRF in ICMR-sponsored project: “Study of Genetic Factors Governing Multidrug Resistance in Clinical Isolates of Shigella spp.” with Dr. Ashima Bhardwaj, Assistant Professor, Department of Human Health and Diseases, IIAR.

Position : SRF (One post)

Salary : 18,000 p.m. +10% HRA

Job Description:
1. The engagement for the projects is purely on temporary basis for the period of duration of the project.
2. It is not an appointment with the institute and will not confer any right to the incumbent to any claim implicit or explicit on any position.
3. Appointment will be initially for a period of six months and extended further depending upon satisfactory performance of the incumbent and is co-terminus with the project.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Outstation candidates have to make their own arrangement for their stay.
5. No intimation for attending the interview will be given. Please come with CV and other certificates pertaining to your educational qualifications and work experience.

Candidate Profile:
Post graduation (minimum 55%) in Microbiology. Candidates should have minimum two years of post M.Sc experience in the area of molecular epidemiology of antibiotic resistance. Candidates with additional experience in handling clinical isolates and publications in the relevant field would be given preference. Age should not be more than 30 years on 15th November, 2012 (relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Govt. of India guidelines).
