Chhattisgarh State Power Holding Co. Ltd. invites application for the post of Shift Chemist (Trainee) in C.S. Power Generation Co. Ltd.

Note: This recruitment is subject to the final outcome/decision of Hon'ble High Court of Chhattisgarh, Bilaspur in pending Writ Petition (C) No. 591/2012, 592/2012, 593/2012 & 594/2012. Accordingly categorywise posts may change.
Any eligible Indian National fulfilling criteria can apply for the post of Shift Chemist.
ESSENTIAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATION :
M.Sc. in Chemistry with minimum 65% in aggregate marks for UR/OBC candidates and 55% for SC/ST candidates of C.G. State; from any Indian University recognized by the UGC.
Note : The candidates appeared/appearing in final year/semester of minimum required qualification will not be considered.
AGE LIMITS (As on 30 / 09 / 2012):
Minimum age limit : 21 years.
Maximum Age limit :
(i) 30 years for candidates of other than Chhattisgarh State.
(ii) 35 years of UR category for candidates of Chhattisgarh State Domicile.
Age relaxation for Persons with disabilities / SC / ST / OBC / Widow / Divorcee (Female) and Female candidates etc. will be given as per the Govt. of Chhattisgarh rules.
Note: Including all relaxations maximum age will not be more than 45 years.
Reservation :
(i) SC / ST / OBC Candidates of Chhattisgarh State Domicile only will be considered for the reserved posts in respective categories as per the Chhattisgarh Govt. rules in this regard.
(ii) The SC / ST / OBC candidates of other states would be treated as candidates belonging to UR category & their candidature will be considered under unreserved category only.
(iii) 30% horizontal & compartment wise reservation for women candidates will be given as per the Govt. of Chhattisgarh guidelines in this regard.
(iv) Reservation for “persons with disabilities” candidates will be given as per notification / rules of the CSPHCL, which is available on our web site cseb.gov.in
Departmental candidates (In open competition) : -
The employees working in CS Power Companies fulfilling the minimum qualification with aforesaid required marks can also apply.
Note: (i) The candidature of departmental candidates will be considered only on receipt of application through proper channel & such application must reach in the office of Dy. General Manager (HR)-II, CSPHCL, Dangania, Raipur up to due date (08 / 11 / 2012). However they can send advance copy directly. The application fee & maximum age limit is not applicable for these departmental candidates.
(ii) The candidature of the departmental candidates against whom departmental enquiry, Lokayukt or criminal case is pending /contemplated or undergoing period of punishment will not be considered.
(iii) No post will be reserved for departmental candidates separately.

Other conditions :-
(1) Successful candidates for the post of Shift Chemist will undergo 12 months training, during training period they shall be appointed as Shift Chemist (Trainee).
(2) During training period, Shift Chemist (Trainee) shall be paid a fixed stipend of Rs. 20425/-.
(3) The selection will be based on written test followed by interview.
(4) The written test and interview will be held at Raipur.
(5) The written test will be of 2 Hours duration and shall consist of 100 objective type questions. Each question will carry one marks. Out of these 100 questions, 80 questions will be of subject matter and 20 questions will be of General Awareness & reasoning. Maximum five times candidates against one available vacancy in each category shall be considered eligible in order of merit for interview, on the basis of marks obtained in written examination. Final selection will be based on common merit list prepared on the basis of marks obtained in written test followed by Interview.
(6) CSPHCL reserves the right to increase/decrease vacancy and also to cancel the complete process of recruitment, if required.
(7) The selected candidates can be posted in CSPGCL.
(8) The selected candidates shall required to be executed a bond to serve the Power Companies for a period of a minimum four years including period of training, the bond amount shall be Rs.3.00 lakhs.
How to apply :
(i) Last date of submission :
The application in the prescribed format should reach to following Address:- "Dy. General Manager (HR)-II, CSPHCL, Dangania, Raipur PIN - 492 013" positively by 08 / 11 / 2012. The applications received by registered post or speed post will only be accepted. Applications by hand / courier / any other mode will not be accepted. Envelope should be clearly super scribed as "Application for the post of Shift Chemist ".
(ii) Application fee :
Rs. 500/- for General, OBC category & SC/ST category candidates of other than Chhattisgarh State AND Rs. 300/- for SC/ST category candidates of Chhattisgarh State in form of non-refundable D.D. / Banker's cheque in favour of "Assistant Manager (CAU), CSPHCL, Raipur" payable at Raipur (Chhattisgarh). The candidates should write their name / post applied and complete mailing address on reverse side of D.D./Banker's Cheque.
(iii) Exemption from application fee :
Only Departmental Candidates are exempted from application fees.
(iv) Other conditions :
The SC/ST/OBC candidates of CG state are required to be submitted permanent caste certificate issued by the competent authority of C.G. Govt. along with the application. However if they selected in order of merit, the caste verification certificate issued by the High Power Caste Scrutiny Committee, constituted for scrutiny of caste certificate, is required to be submitted by such candidates for considering their final appointment.
Please note that no change in category will be allowed after the last date of receipt of application form and in absence of Permanent Caste Certificate the candidate having paid Rs. 500 alongwith the application only will be treated under UR category (max. age 35 years) otherwise it will be rejected. Candidature of other than CG state domicile of SC / ST / OBC category shall be accepted against UR category only (Max. age 30 years) if found enclosed with a valid D.D. of Rs. 500 alongwith the application otherwise it will be rejected.
Application received after due date shall not be considered under any circumstances. Incomplete unsigned application/ applications not in prescribed format / without photograph/without requisite D.D./without copy of certificate regarding passing qualifying examination mark sheet /without permanent caste certificate (For SC / ST / OBC candidate) without disability certificate (for persons with disabilities), shall be rejected and no further correspondence shall be entertained. Traveling allowance will be paid to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per company rules. Please visit our web site "cseb.gov.in" regularly for updated information regarding admit cards, duplicate admit cards, date / time, roll number / test centers of eligible candidates for written examination, separate information in news papers will not be published in this regard. CSPHCL will not be responsible for any postal delay or loss in respect of receipt of application form / delivery of admit card.
Note:
(i) Candidate having in Government / Semi-Government / Sub-ordinate / PSU bodies shall send their applications through proper channel or provide NOC at time of interview.
(ii) Departmental candidates of Power Companies shall apply through proper channel only.
