Post: Group Leader - Toxicology
Supervise a team of scientists involved in tasks like design and execution of experiments in rodents to evaluate the toxicological and pathological profile of NCEs; conducting gross pathology of animals during autopsy; conducting experiments using techniques involved in histopathology of tissue samples, microscopic analysis and data interpretation; having experience/expertise in immunohistochemistry. The incumbent will be responsible for leading the GLP efforts in the area of toxicology-train scientists; monitor GLP documentation and communication. He/she will be responsible for monitoring inhouse and outsourced, pre-clinical toxicity studies. The role will involve managing the general and exploratory toxicology scientists, projects-manpower allocation, budgets for the department and administrative matters for the group, in conjunction with the head of the department.
Incumbent must have 7+ years of relevant Industry Experince.
Must have experince of handling team.
The incumbent will be expected to liaise and work well with project teams, discovery and development groups, internal and external customers / colleagues.
M.V.Sc in Pathology/M.Pharm & Ph.D in Pharmacology & Toxicology. Post Doctoral experience preferred.
