Account Manager- Bio-Pharma, Sales & BD
The position is part of the global commercial sales team which is part of the Biopharma Commercial group. The group is responsible for identifying and executing on business opportunities as well as managing already established partnerships. The group works closely together with the rest of the Novozymes organization to ensure optimal market positioning, lead generation, and closing of deals. Identification, creation and capture of specific sales opportunities are achieved through a sales process that is intrinsically several years duration.

  • Managing established accounts and partners to ensure progress and success of projects in INDIA
  • Evaluation of customer needs, including technical and commercial requirements as well as business opportunities.
  • Support marketing in analyzing relevant markets in India (and other parts of APAC) to secure optimal understanding of existing, as well as future market opportunities.
  • Attend trade shows and industry conferences to develop contacts, ascertain trends and promote our products and services.
  • Manage all legal agreements and commitments as may be assigned (i.e., confidentiality agreements, term sheets, supply agreements, etc.).
  • Close liaison with Marketing, Application Development, Customer Service and other relevant functions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree (graduate degree preferred) in Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related areas
  • 5 years commercial experience with technologically complex products, preferably in the Life Sciences
  • Experience in the drug and/or medical device development industry and familiarity with the related regulatory environment will be highly valued.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • High in energy, self-motivated & Team player
  • Handled large Key Accounts & possess Sales Skills in Customer Account Management.

Challenges
This position manages overall relationships and opportunities with designated strategic and very complex globalaccounts to achieve annual sales targets as well as the long term opportunities through new business opportunities.
