The Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) is the country's premier national Institute for agricultural research, education and extension. Dr. K. Annapurna, PI, Division of Microbiology IARI, New Delhi intends to recruit two Junior Research Fellows in the DBT funded project on “Genetic diversity and potential of ACC deaminase producing rhizobia of soybean and their role in drought stress”. The details of the position are given below

Post: Junior Research Fellow

No. of posts: Two

Emoluments: Rs. 14000 + 30% HRA

Qualification: M.Sc in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Life Sciences

Age Limit: Not more than 35 years for men & 40 years for women (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. rules)

Desirable qualifications: Practical hands on experience in Microbiological, biochemical and molecular techniques. Knowledge of computers

Terms and Conditions
i) The post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for a period of one year, which may be extended periodically subject to performance till the termination of the project.
ii) The selected candidate shall not claim regular appointment at this Institute, as the post is coterminous with the project.
iii) The interview of eligible candidates will be held on 12.8.2013 at 10.30 AM in the Committee Room, Division of Microbiology, IARI, New Delhi 110012.
iv) Reporting time: 10.00 AM in PG Lecture room, Division of Microbiology , IARI, New Delhi 110012.
v) The candidates will have to bring a copy of bio-data, original certificates, self-attested photocopies of all the required certificates from matriculation onwards and copy of recent passport size photograph. The original or provisional degree of award of M.Sc is essentially to be brought while attending the interview, failing which candidate will not be allowed to attend the interview.
vi) No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
vii) Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
viii) Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.
