Our current Earn while You Learn program details are:
·The Recruitment examination will be held at GVK Biosciences Private Limited, Plot No: 79 | Nacharam | IDA Mallapur| Hyderabad - 500076 on 25th July 2012, Wednesday at 10.00 am. (Landmark: Near Mallapur Manikchand Circle)
·You or someone on behalf of you need to Pay Rs. 200/- in person as registration fee for the examination at the above address on or before the examination date.
·Selected candidates will be offered a trainee position in Informatics, GVK BIO and have to register for NGS CourseCourse Offered: NextGen Sequencing (NGS) Analysis
Introduction: NextGen Sequencing is the latest trend in the areas of Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Medicine. As we see the advancement in technology, the cost to sequence the entire human genome dropped to $1000 per sample. Hence the technology and cost opened up many avenues to generate huge amount of complex sequence data. The immediate need is to have a trained pool of manpower who can assemble, analyze and annotate the NGS data. The applications of NGS may be ranged anywhere from biology, medicine, drug discovery, clinical and agriculture areas.
Who should attend:Any M.Sc with specialization in any of the areas of Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Any Chemistry, Bioinformatics, Molecular biology, genetics. B.Pharm, M.Pharm. MBBS, BDS, MD. BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech with >55% marks at Graduate and Post Graduate level.

Duration: 4 months
Course Contents:
The course is designed in a such way that students will get well rounded training in multiple areas such as NextGen Sequencing Analysis, Microarray data analysis, fundamentals of mathematics & statistics, UNIX, Perl, Cloud Computing, relevant biology and medical topics
logic & reasoning and communication (including reading and writing).
Placement: After successful completion of the course, majority of the students will be given an opportunity to join the GVKBIO informatics division. The placement selection criteria will include successful completion of course, performance and merit during the course work, and good score in standardized tests such as SAT etc.. Required training will be given to obtain good score in standardized tests.
