Post: Junior Research Fellow, Senior Research Fellow, Research Associate
Applications are invited for the post of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Senior Research Fellow (SRF) / Research Associate (RA) in a CSIR sponsored project (P-25/336) entitled "STUDIES ON METAL MATRIX NANOCOMPOSITES -THEIR ELECTRODEPOSITION, CHARA CTER1ZA TION AND PROPER TIES," sanctioned up to 2015 (3 years). Fellowship is as per CSIR rule. The post is purely temporary and co-terminous with the project.
For JRFship, the candidates should be M.Sc. in Chemistry or, equivalent degree with 55% mark and passing of NET/GATE test and age not exceeding 28 years.
For SRFship, the candidates should be M.Sc. in Chemistry or, equivalent degree and at least two years of post-M.Sc, research experience in relevant field, as evidenced from published papers in standard refereed journals; and age not exceeding 32 years.
For RAship, the candidates should be PhD or equivalent degree in Chemistry in relevant field, and age not exceeding 35 years.
A relaxation of 5 years upper age limit will be given to SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates. Candidates with experience of research in the area of the Project or related field will be preferred. All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
