Job Description:
1. To develop growing pipeline of oral liquid products, experienced professionals are required in the area of pharmaceutical development.
2. To play a key role in the development of oral liquid dosage forms (including lipid based delivery systems for poorly soluble compounds).
3. To ensure that high quality products are developed applying risk analysis and QbD methodologies, working in close partnership with Research, Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics and Modeling & Simulation on biopharmaceutical aspects (IVIVC, understand absorption limitations for poorly soluble compounds).
4. To evolve in a global multidisciplinary network organization and facilitate coaching and coordination skills which are keys to achieve sustainable performance.
5. To achieve robust formulations and processes through optimization, scale-up and validation work and provision of the required documentation to allow worldwide reg-istration.
6. To maintain excellent track record in QbD to monitor consistent and systematic use for the project portfolio.
7. To represent Pharmaceutical Development in external collaborations, resulting in a wide range of scientific and strategic tasks.
8. To develop new technologies for oral liquids and lipid based delivery systems for poorly water soluble compounds and supervision of scientific projects.

Candidate Profile:
Minimum: MPharm or equivalent
Desirable: Advanced degree in a scientific or relevant discipline (Ph.D. or equivalent).
Good knowledge of English (oral and written).


 

Experience/Professional requirement:
1.Successfully demonstrated several years (minimum of 3 years) of directly related experience as principal scientist or PhD in Science with focus on pharmaceutical sciences and technology (e.g. Pharmacy, Chemistry) with 6-7 years of experience or MPharm with 13+ years of experience
2.Minimum 5+ years of successful industry experi-ence in the development of pharmaceutical oral liquid formulations (aqueous solutions/suspensions and lipid based delivery systems in soft gelatin capsules), including bio-pharmaceutics and thorough understanding of absorption limitations for poorly soluble compounds.
3.Proven track record in QbD.
4.Interdisciplinary thinking and interest in collabora-tion with other functions.
5.Excellent scientific leadership skills. Excellent knowledge of laboratory and/or technical tools (e.g. QbD).
6.Broad and profound understanding of development activities and processes in pharmaceutical sciences.
7.Successfully demonstrated track record of creativity and problem solving in projects.
8.Strong knowledge of relevant GLP, GMP regulations and policies.
9.Strong presentation skills and scientific/technical writing skills.
10.Excellent communication skills, organizational, planning and negotiation skills.
11.Advanced coaching skills.
12.Fluency in English (oral and written), a must.
