National Institute for Research in Reproductive Health (NIRRH), formerly known as Institute for Research in Reproduction is a premier research institute of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). It is situated in the vicinity of a number of hospitals and research institutes in central Mumbai. Since its inception in 1970, it has been making vigorous efforts to improve the reproductive health of people through research, education and health care services. The Institute is affiliated to the University of Mumbai which awards degrees to the M.Sc. and Ph.D students in the areas of Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry and Applied Biology. The Institute is one of the few centers in India, which can boast of a team of basic, clinical and operational research scientists and state-of-art laboratories equipped with modern facilities to carry out research on various components of reproductive health.

Applications are invited through Walk-in-Interview on 31 st January 2012 between 09:00 hrs and 12:00 hrs. for the following Non-Institutional post under ad-hoc project entitled – “Biomedical Informatics Centers of ICMR.

Post: Sr. Research Fellow

Salary: Rs.18000/-p.m.+ 30%HRA

Qualification:
First class M.Sc degree in life Science with two years research experience.

Desirable: Candidates with publication or NET qualification or experience in studying hormone signaling pathway will be preferred.

Age Limit: 35 years

Duration: Up to June 2012
