Post: Assistant General Manager- EHS

Job Description:
1. Coordinate and monitor day to-day environmental operations, Implementation of ISO 14001:2004 , safety practices & requirements and meeting the standards and regulations.
2.Meeting the statutory requirements, improvement plans and necessary budget approvals for environment performance improvement under the guidance from Corp. EHS.
3.Coordinating with projects team for new projects/facility creation/modifications on Environmental requirements.
4.Implementation and monitoring of waste minimization practices, and Zero discharge facilities with support from Corp. EHS.
5.Monitoring water intake and waste water generation RO source and take necessary measures to achieve targets in-time.
6.Facilitate external trainings/internal trainings /internal audits and timely meeting the action items.
7.Coordinate and monitor IH requirements.Evaluate the effectiveness of the process controls/design controls.
8.Conducting internal audits/health based risk assessments/ Occupational exposure surveys by internal/external experts under the guidance and support from Corp.EHS.
9.Follow up for implementation of audit findings/compliances with peers/team members.
10.Coordinating with projects team/ Occupational hygienist for design and providing necessary process controls/ engg controls and selection of PPE for handling potent compounds where ever applicable.
11.Organizing trainings in IH practices and usage of PPE by internal/external experts under the guidance from Corp.EHS.
12.Conducting medical examinations for required employees to meet regulations based on Crop.EHS advice.
13.Conducting Hazop studies along with Corp.EHS and follow up for implementation of recommendations.
14.Conducting internal/external safety inspections and trainings.
15.Preparation of On-Site emergency plans and conducting Mock drills as per requirements.
16.Strengthening and compliance of Work Permit System at above locations.
17.Coordinate with projects team/ Corp.EHS for review of Safety requirements for new projects.
18.Facilitate the investigation for incidents/ accidents by cross functional team and implementation of CAPA.

Experience: 13-18 Years
Diploma/ B.SC/ M.Sc/ M.Tech in Environmental Science
