Kumaun University is spread over in three campuses (DSB Campus, Bhimtal Campus and SS Jena Campus) with an area of 5,31,373 sq. mt. (160 acres) and built-up area of 3,00,000 sq. mt. The location of the university in Uttarakhand offers excellent research and teaching due to its landscape which is on undulating high ground. There are many herbs, shrubs and trees as well as rocks and minerals constituting eco-systems that can be studied. The university is known for its research and teaching in Geology, Forestry, Ecology, Particle Physics and Chemistry, Economics and Management as well as boasts of several centres that offer interesting research.

Applications are invited for the following posts on prescribed form, which may be procured from the office of the Registrar, Kumaun University, Nainital on payment of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for S.C./S.T.) by cash or downloaded from website kuntl.in and be submitted with a bankdraft for Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for S.C./S.T.) in favour of Finance Officer, Kumaun University, paybale at Nainital. For delivery by post send bank draft of Rs. 1050/- (Rs. 550/- for S.C. /S.T.) to Registrar, Kumaun University. The last date for accepting the application forms (with testimonials) is 28 February, 2013.
The candidates having domicile certificate of Uttarakhand will only be considered under reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) as per The Uttarakhand Govt. Policy. The candidates under reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) will have to submit the category certificate and domicile certificate along with application on prescribed format.
UR= Unreserved, SC= Scheduled Caste, OBC= Other Backward Class, ST= Scheduled Tribes.

2- The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill any of/all the vacancies notified above.
