Post: Business Development-R&D outsourcing and contract negotiations
•Negotiate cost & contract terms for R&D outsourcing/consulting contracts of the BU (across all programs) related to Preclinical, Clinical, CMC activities by leveraging network and relationship with leading CROs/CMOs across geographies in order to help various project teams in their project execution within time and allocated budget.
•Negotiate on technical/scientific aspects, cost, confidentiality & IP, WHT, insurance provisions, regulatory aspects and other legal aspects of the contracts while coordinating with relevant stakeholders (IP, Finance, legal team, technical functions, head of contracts, etc.) in order to save cost time and most importantly to ensure that the contract adequately covers all business risks of organization, safeguard its interests and meets all compliance requirements;
•Work directly with BU contracts head and BU finance head and BU head in executing outsourcing contracts in order to ensure unbiased and effective decision making on cost/contract commitments as per the board resolution on Delegation of Authority (DOA);
•Build and leverage relationships with cross functional/Cross BU teams within organization and globally with CROs/CMOs
