A Walk-in-interview will be conducted for the post of Project Fellow in UGC funded Project (P-01/613) entitled "Vitamin D status in patients with diabetic foot infection and its effect on host defense" located at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi on December 27, 2012 at 4.00 PM in the Committee room/Dean's office, Faculty of Medicine, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.
Qualifications & Age limit: M.Sc. in Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Pharmacology with minimum 55% marks from recognized university and not exceeding upper age limit of 40 years. A relaxation of 5 years to upper age limit will be given to SC/ST/Physically handicapped/Female candidates.
Desirable: Two years research experience in medical science laboratory.
Duration: The period of Project fellow is at present upto January 31, 2013 or till termination of the project.

Emoluments for Project fellow: Monthly remuneration of Rs. 16,000/- for GATE /NET qualifiers and Rs. 14,000/- for Non GATE /NET qualifiers. HRA shall be admissible as per UGC Rules.
The eligible and interested candidates desirous to work in the project must bring a copy of bio-data, original and attested copies of certificates of educational qualifications. NOC from Employer/University if working already, and experience certificate, if any and a latest passport size photograph at the time of walk-in-interview. Eligible candidates must be present lhour before scheduled time on the date of interview. The candidates attending the interview will not be entitled for TA/DA.
