Central Council for Research in Homoeopathy (CCRH) was established as an autonomous organisation in 1978, under the Dept. of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India. Primarily a research body, CCRH has a multi-dimensional approach to research and its varied research activities include 'Survey, collection and cultivation of medicinal plants', 'Drug standardisation', 'Drug proving', 'Clinical verification' and 'Clinical research'. Besides, CCRH also collaborates with other research bodies for researches and monitors extramural researches. To meet its objective of result-oriented research, CCRH pursues various clinical studies on different conditions or diseases. These diverse activities have taken CCRH to the helm of affairs of homoeopathic research and the Council has begun to get recognition from all sides. CCRH strives to keep going with its efforts of upgrading the science of Homoeopathy, through a pragmatic and rational approach and to take Homoeopathy to newer heights.

Walk- In Interview for one post of Senior Research Fellow (Botany/Pharmacognosy), who fulfill the followings educational qualifications and experience, will be held at 10.00 am on 7.1.2012 at the Department of Botany, Government Arts College, Stone House Hill, Udhagamandalam 643 002, Nilgiris Districts, Tamil Nadu.

Post: Senior Research Fellow (Botany/Pharmacognosy) under OBC Category- One Post

Qualifications: a) Essential: M.sc (Botany/Pharmacognosy)

Age Limit: Maximum 35 Years as on the date of advertisement.

Place of Posting: Survey of Medicinal Plants & Collection unit, Emerald 643209, Nilgiris District Tamil Nadu, S. India

Duration: Initially for a period of one year but likely to be extended.
5. Emoluments: Rs.14, 000/- + HRA p.m. for the first year and second year and Rs.15, 000/- +HRA p.a. for third year.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. The eligibility of the candidate will be determined on 16.12.2011.
2. The Candidate who fulfill the requirement of eligibility as prescribed above may attend the Walk- In Interview along with an application on a plain paper will self attested photocopies of certificate of qualifications, experience, mark sheet, birth certificate, caste certificate, pass port size 2 Photographs.
3. The candidate if employed with any autonomous/ Govt. or private sector may bring NOC from their employers at the time of interview.
4. The competent Authority reserves the right to postpone/ cancel the recruitment exercise for the post at any stage.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
6. Canvassing in any for on or behalf of a candidate will be a disqualification.
