Title of the Project : “C-H Functionalization Strategies for Bioactive Theranostic Probes Targeting UTI- Causing Bacteria and their Application in Diagnostic Device Development”
Sponsored Agency : CEEMS TIET-VT, Patiala
Duration : 01 Years (Subject to extension of three years based on performance)
Principal Investigator : Dr. Kamaldeep Paul, Professor, Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala-147004, India.
Opportunity : The selected candidate can register for the full-time Ph.D. program at TIET (upon fulfilling admission norms)
Essential Qualification : MSc Chemistry or M. Pharma (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) with a minimum of 60% marks or 7.0 CGPA. Applicants with GATE/GPAT/NET score will be given preference.
Desirable : Good research potential in the related area (in the form of authentic demonstrative research projects/ thesis) along with relevant credentials. Good hand in organic synthesis.
Fellowship : Rs. 30,000/- per month as per norms for Non-GATE/NET candidates Rs. 45,000/- per month as per norms for GATE/GPAT/NET candidates
