Walk in interview Walk in interview for the below mentioned positions for the NMPB funded project entitled Regional Raw Drug Repository, Western Himalayan Region” will be held at Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (CCRAS), Bantalab, Jammu, on below mentioned dates.

The posts are purely temporary initially for a period of one year. The services may be curtailed or extended on performance/need basis.

Project Associate-I (Chemistry) - One
Qualification / Experience : Essential: Master’s Degree in Concerned subject from a recognized university/institution.
Desirable : 1. Experience in ASU Raw Drug Standardization.
2. Expertise in computer applications, Skills of drafting, editing of scientific documents/ articles technical reports etc.
Emoluments (per month) : Rs.31,000/-+ HRA* for those who have qualified CSIR- UGC / ICAR /ICMR NET OR GATE qualified. Rs.25,000/- + 20% HRA for others who do not fulfill the above

Project Associate-I (Microbiology) - One
Qualification / Experience : Essential: Master’s Degree in Concerned subject from a recognized university/institution.
Desirable : 1. Experience in ASU Raw Drug Standardization.
2. Expertise in computer applications, Skills of drafting, editing of scientific documents/ articles technical reports etc.
Emoluments (per month) : Rs.31,000/-+ HRA* for those who have qualified CSIR- UGC / ICAR /ICMR NET OR GATE qualified. Rs.25,000/- + 20% HRA for others who do not fulfill the above

Project Associate-II (Pharmacognosy) - One
Qualification / Experience : Essential: 1. M. Pharm in Pharmacognosy / M.Sc. in Botany from a recognized University/ Institution.
2 years experience in Research and Development and Academic institutes or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific Activities and services.
Desirable : 1. Sound knowledge of Pharmacognostical techniques, Skills of drafting, editing of scientific documents/ articles /technical reports etc.
Essential: 1. M.Sc. in Botany with specialization in plant taxonomy from a recognized University/ Institution.
2. 2 years experience in Research and Development and Academic institutes or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific Activities and services.
Desirable : Expertise in survey, collection and identification of plants, Skills of drafting, editing of scientific documents / articles /technical reports etc.
Emoluments (per month) : Rs. 35,000/-+ HRA* for those who have qualified CSIR- UGC/ICAR /ICMR NET OR GATE qualified. Rs.28,000/- + HRA* for others who do not fulfill the above.

Project Associate-II (Taxonomy/Botany ) - One
Qualification / Experience : Essential: 1. M. Pharm in Pharmacognosy / M.Sc. in Botany from a recognized University/ Institution.
2. years experience in Research and Development and Academic institutes or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific Activities and services.
Desirable : 1. Sound knowledge of Pharmacognostical techniques, Skills of drafting, editing of scientific documents/ articles /technical reports etc.

1. The engagement would be purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project and no claim for continuance or regular appointment will be entertained.
2. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on date of interview. Relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt, of India Rules.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview/written test
