The Indian Institute of Technology Jammu was inaugurated on 6th August 2016, and welcomed the first batch of students into the campus in Paloura, Jammu. In the initial phases, the establishment of IIT Jammu was done under the mentorship of IIT Delhi. In 2018, IIT Jammu shifted its primary operations to the 400 acres of lush green land in Jagti village, just outside Jammu city, provided by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir for establishing its main campus. The main campus of the Institute is located on National Highway–44, 17 km from the Jammu Airport and 19 km from the Jammu Tawi Railway Station.

Age Limit : 35 years
Period of Engagement : Initially for 01 Year or as per requirement (extendable based on the performance and requirement)
Consolidated Salary package : Rs. 22,000/- to 25,500/- per month
Eligibility Criteria : Essential (a) GNM/ D.Pharma/Medical assistant with at least 60% marks.
(b) 03 years’ experience as Paramedic/ Equivalent position in a recognized hospital.
(c) Proficiency in the use of computer office applications like M.S Word, Excel and Power-point or equivalent is must.
Desirable
(a) Preference will be given to eligible male candidates.
(b) 07 years’ experience as Paramedic/ Equivalent position in a recognized hospital.
(c) B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Pharma with at least 60% marks.
Work Profile
(a) Provide first aid and basic emergency medical care to patients.
(b) Maintain proper stock of medicines, medical supplies, and equipment.
(c) Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and health conditions.
(d) Duties allotted as per roster (rotational shift/night duty and includes holidays and weekends)
(e) Administrative duties within Health and Wellness Centre.
