Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU) is the first Pharmacy University in India and third in the world, established by Act 07 of 2008 State legislature of Delhi and functional from 2015. It is 100% grant-in-aid State Government University recognized under 2f and Section 22 of the UGC. The University has the legacy of 57 years starting with the D. Pharm. in polytechnic in 1964 to College of Pharmacy in 1972 and then the institute Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) in 2004 that got converted into DPSRU as it stands now.

Post : Program Director (Innovation & Incubation)

Walk-in-Interview to fill up one post (01) of “Program Director” (Innovation & Incubation) under DPSRU Innovation and Incubation Foundation (DIIF). This will be a temporary appointment for a period of one year, extendable subject to performance. The appointment shall be on full-time basis. 

Essential
1. Master's degree in Pharma, Life sciences, Biotech, Chemistry, or any related Healthcare field/Business Management
2. At least 3-5 years of potential industrial experience or experience working with entrepreneurs, start-ups, incubators, or incubation consultancy.

Desirable
1. Possess skills required to manage Incubator/Incubatee relationships, including structural and procedures.
2. A proven record of entrepreneurship, either as a start-up founder or having worked in the innovation and incubation space supporting start-ups.
3. Experience in being part of a growing company management team.
4. Requisite network in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
5. Evidence of strong organisational, interpersonal, and communications skills.
6. Ability to work with diverse groups including businesses, entrepreneurs, major corporations, universities, the public, and economic development organisations.
7. MBA in Business Management.

Job Description / Responsibilities
• Work closely with the Director/CEO/CTO/Nodal Officers to design, develop, and run the incubation program.
• Develop and execute strategy for outreach, scouting, evaluating, selection, and onboarding of quality and innovative start-ups.
• Own, develop, and execute a rolling calendar of operational and engagement strategies for the entire community, both internally and externally, including start-ups, investors, incubators, institutes, corporates, mentors, advisors, and domain experts.
• Have a good understanding of and access to the entrepreneurship ecosystem to provide high-quality mentor and advisory support to entrepreneurs.
• Manage day-to-day interaction with the incubates and provide continued strategic guidance to entrepreneurs in areas such as technology, grants, business modeling, sales and marketing, financing, fundraising, overall strategy, and operations.
• Gather relevant information for grant reporting and prepare and submit grant application reports wherever required.
• Provide information for management reporting and prepare reports as necessary.
• Perform as a liaison between clients, businesses, and the incubator throughout the region.
• Oversee day-to-day operations for the utilization of equipment by incubates, faculty, students, and outsiders.
• Manage incubator-related rents, agreements, renewals, and technology transfer.

Skills and Qualifications — Essential

Remuneration will be fixed depending on qualification and experience.
