The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an institution of national importance and a statutory body established by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. It functions as a UNESCO Category II Centre with regional and global partnerships. RCB’s primary mandate is to provide world-class education and training, and to conduct innovative, interdisciplinary research in biotechnology to develop high-quality human resources in a globally competitive research environment.

Title of Project : Structural and biochemical analysis of EccA1+EspC complex, EccC+EsxAB complex and EccD1 transporter from M. tuberculosis ESX-1 system: Key targets for drug development
Duration : one year
Age Limit : 26 Years as on 31.09.2026
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in life sciences with NET/DBT-JRF/GATE or equivalent exam cleared with Masters or equivalent degree.
Desirable Qualifications : Research experience in gene cloning, protein purification, and cryo-electron microscopy. Good oral and written communication skills. A strong motivation for a career in research.
