The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India. It develops and publishes the Indian Pharmacopoeia (IP), which provides official quality standards for medicines in India. IPC also provides IP Reference Substances and supports pharmaceutical quality testing. It serves as the National Coordination Centre for the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI). IPC is headquartered in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

Walk-in Interview is going to be held on 29.09.2026 for filling up the vacant position at Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), an Autonomous organization under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ghaziabad, through Outsourcing Manpower Providing Agency.

Essential Qualification:
Post Graduate Degree from a recognized University under Pharmacy/Regulatory affairs/Biomedical science/Medical device/Biomedical technology or equivalent Or Graduation in Biomedical Engineering
Good knowledge of computers
Experience: 1 year experience in Medical Devices Testing
Place of Posting: Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Ghaziabad
Job Description:
• Testing of Medical Devices
• Drafting of Medical Device monographs/chapters for IP
• Support QMS activities related to Medical Devices
• Preparation of specifications/SOPs/technical reports/PPTs
• Any other activities assigned by competent authority
The interested candidate should produce originals along with self-attested copies of all educational qualification certificates including experience certificates and other documentary proofs at the time of interview.

Period of engagement:
The tenure of contract will be for period of one year and contract may be renewed based on the decision of competent authority. However, in case the work and conduct of the staff is not found to be satisfactory during the contract tenure, the services may be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof.
General Instructions:
1. The competent authority may increase or decrease the number of vacancies and accept or reject any application without giving any reason.
2. Interview will be conducted at IPC, Ghaziabad. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
3. Experience/Age may be relaxed at discretion of the Competent Authority.
4. The candidate is responsible for the correctness of the information provided in the application. If it is found at a later stage that any information given in the application is incorrect/false, the candidature/appointment is liable to be cancelled/terminated.
5. The selected candidate will be informed by the IPC authorized Manpower agency.
6. No further query regarding the selection/rejection of candidate will be entertained in future.
Note: Candidates are requested to report to the venue Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission, Ghaziabad between 9.00 to 10.00 AM. Latecomers will not be entertained.
