Applications are invited for the post of “Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)” for an ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) funded project. Candidate should excel the existing technology to the clinical stage. Project work is collaborated with the Clinician (Specialized Doctors) and associated with the patient derived pathogens. Position is completely temporary. Initially is for one year, which can be extended upto three years subjected to the performance of the candidate. At the end of the contract candidate cannot claim for the permanent position.
Post : Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
Emoluments : Rs. 56,000/= per month + HRA (as Varanasi) will be provided on initial emoluments after completing every two years.
Minimum Qualification Required : (1) Postgraduate degree (M. Sc./M. Tech.), 1st Class with at least 5 years of research Experience; or Postgraduate degree (M. Sc./M. Tech.), 2nd Class with Ph.D. with commendable research publications.
(2) Candidate should have at least FIVE research publications relevant to the area of research mentioned below.
Key Area of Research and requirements : Domain: Health Care, Therapeutic applications of Nanomaterials/Nanomedicine for infectious diseases/treatment of microbial infections, cancer treatment, knowledge with in vitro and in vivo work and working experiences with hospital pathogens.
Age Limit : 35 Years
Place of work : Research Lab of Dr. Pradip Paik, Translational Nanomedicine for Therapeutic Applications, School of Biomedical Engineering (Indian Institute of Technology BHU). Candidate should be flexible to travel for collaborative research work with other Research Institutes of India, Hospitals and Clinicians as per the requirement and need of the project.
