Job Description
Experienced Peptide Chemist with expertise in solid-phase and solution-phase peptide synthesis, purification, and characterization. Proficiency in automated peptide synthesizers and ability to independently manage medium- to large-scale peptide synthesis, troubleshoot complex challenges, and ensure compliance with laboratory and SHE standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and execute solid-phase and solution-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS/LPPS) using automated synthesizers such as Syro and CEM Liberty Blue.
• Independently handle peptide synthesis across scales from gram to kg, with troubleshooting abilities.
• Purify and characterize peptides using preparative HPLC, analytical HPLC, LC-MS, and MS.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment to keep synthesis workflows running smoothly.
• Maintain compliance with laboratory safety and SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) standards.
• Review relevant literature to inform synthetic strategy and troubleshooting approaches.
• Keep accurate, timely experimental records, including lab notebooks, batch records, and ELN entries as applicable.

Qualification
• M.Sc. or M.Pharm in Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry.
• Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in peptide synthesis.
