GSBTM Fellowship in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, NIPER

Applications are invited for engagement of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the GSBTM funded project entitled “Investigating Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) homing – short peptides and peptidomimetics for biofilm associated infections” in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, NIPER-Ahmedabad

The position is available initially for a period of 01 year and may be extended further for 01 year based on the candidate’s satisfactory performance and continuation of the project.

Engagement Tenure : The position is for period of 12 months subject to performance and continuation of the project for next 12 months. The position will be co-terminus with the project.

Salary : Rs. 23,213/- consolidated

Essential Qualification Essential Qualification :
• M. Pharm/ MS Pharm/ MSc or Equivalent with specialization in Medicinal Chemistry/Organic Chemistry or equivalent.
• PG degree with 60% marks for GN/OBC (55% for SC/ST/PH) from UGC recognized University/ Institute, autonomous bodies NIPER/IITs/IISER.

Desired qualification : GATE/CSIR/UGC NET/GPAT qualified.

Desired Work : Prior experience in organic synthesis, peptide synthesis and performing column Chromatography, HPLC analysis, LC-MS and NMR data interpretation.
Other Terms & Conditions : The position is purely temporary in nature and co-terminus with the project.
