District TB Centre Hiring Pharmacist

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up the temporary/contractual vacant posts in the District Hospitals and Primary Health Centres functioning under the District Health Society, Kanyakumari District. Therefore, applications are invited from qualified candidates for the above-mentioned posts. Applications should reach the concerned office on or before 30.09.2026 at 5:00 PM.

Post : Pharmacist (NTEP) — District TB Centre, Nagercoil

Number of Vacancies : 1

Salary : ₹18,000 per month

Educational Qualification : 1. Degree / Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized university.
2. One year of experience in a medicine/drug store in a reputed hospital or a Government-recognized health centre.
3. Candidate should be well-versed in computer programmes, including MS Word, Excel, and statistical packages such as SPSS.

Age Limit : Up to 45 years

Conditions
I. The above-mentioned temporary posts will be filled for a period of 11 months, or until the completion of the project/scheme, whichever is earlier.
II. If there are no eligible applicants belonging to the specified priority category prescribed for a particular post, then, as per the procedure specified in Government Order (G.O.) No. 122, Human Resources Management Department, dated 02.11.2021, applications from eligible candidates belonging to the next priority category will be considered and accepted.
III. Applicants claiming First Graduate Certificate priority (Priority No. 02) must obtain the required certificate from the competent authority, as specified in Government Order (G.O.) No. 296, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Revenue Administration – Section 3(2), dated 19.06.2023, and must attach the certificate along with the application.
IV. The following documents/certificates must be compulsorily attached with the application:
• Copy of the educational qualification certificate(s) and mark sheet
• Copy of the Community/Caste Certificate
• Priority Certificate, if the applicant is claiming a priority category
• Copy of the Nativity/Residence proof (such as Family Card/Ration Card or Aadhaar Card)
• Relevant certificate for ex-servicemen, wherever applicable to the posts requested
• All technical certificates specified as educational/technical qualifications in the notification
V. It is informed that no separate/individual intimation will be sent regarding the candidates selected for the above-mentioned posts or the candidates placed on the waiting/reserve list.
VI. In the case of BC/MBC candidates, priority will be given on the basis of the date of birth (seniority by age) of the applicants.

4. The appointment is purely temporary and will be made by the Chairperson, District Health Society, based on their decision.

Instructions
1. The applicant must self-attest/sign the photocopies of all certificates and attach them along with the application.
2. Original certificates must be produced at the time of the interview/certificate verification.
3. The following documents must be attached along with the completed application form:
o Age/Date of Birth certificate
o Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets
o Experience certificate, wherever applicable
o Community Certificate
o Other applicable certificates mentioned in the notification.
4. Proof of date of birth, such as:
o Birth Certificate
o SSLC certificate, or
o HSC certificate.
5. Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets (Degree certificates and all relevant mark sheets).
6. Medical/Pharmacy-related qualification certificate, where applicable, with the qualification having been renewed/updated in the relevant register, if required.
7. Certificate for Tamil-medium education (PSTM certificate).

8. Nativity Certificate, which may be established by:
o a. Nativity Certificate issued through the Revenue Department, or
o b. Aadhaar Card.
9. Community Certificate.
10. Conduct/Character Certificate issued by a Group 'A' or Group 'B' officer working in a Government school. The certificate must have been obtained within 3 months before the date of publication of this notification.
11. Persons with Disabilities:
If the applicant is a person with a disability, they must submit a certificate from the Block Medical Officer stating that they are eligible/capable of performing the duties assigned to them, along with the percentage of disability.
12. Work Experience in Health/Social Service:
A certificate proving that the applicant has worked in health-care institutions or social service organizations for a maximum period of 5 years may be submitted.
• For experience in private institutions, the certificate must be certified by the JDHS (Joint Director of Health Services).
• For community/social work, it must be certified by the DHO (District Health Officer).
• The English text in the image specifically says:
“Worked in Health care institutions / community up to a maximum of 5 years.”
13. Special Category Certificate:
Certificate for unmarried persons with disabilities / destitute widows, as applicable.
14. No Objection Certificate (NOC):
A No Objection Certificate obtained from the appropriate/competent authority, where applicable.
15. Other Required Certificates/Instructions:
Other important certificates/instructions specified in the selection/recruitment rules must also be followed and submitted wherever applicable.
16. First Graduate Priority — Priority No. 02:
Candidates claiming First Graduate Certificate priority (Priority No. 02) must submit the relevant certificate issued by the competent authority, as prescribed under:
G.O. No. 296, Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Revenue Administration – Section 3(2), dated 19.06.2023.
Only candidates who attach the First Graduate Certificate can be considered under this priority category.
