The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an institution of national importance and a statutory body established by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. It functions as a UNESCO Category II Centre with regional and global partnerships. RCB’s primary mandate is to provide world-class education and training, and to conduct innovative, interdisciplinary research in biotechnology to develop high-quality human resources in a globally competitive research environment.

Title of Project : Elucidating the Role of Histone modifications in Antifungal Drug Resistance of Candida Auris: A pathway to novel therapeutic strategies. Duration: Initially for one year may be extended based on annual evaluation (till the duration of the project).
Age Limit : Below 28 Years.
Essential Qualifications :
• MSc/MTech in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Molecular biology/ Biochemistry / Microbiology /Genomics.
• Any National level eligibility test qualified such as GATE, NET, DBT etc.
Desirable Qualifications : Desirable qualifications include one-year prior experience in yeast genetics, molecular biol- ogy, along with demonstrated experience in epigenetics research. Desirable skills include the use of epigenetic tech- niques such as chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP), co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP), and related assays to study protein-DNA and protein-protein interactions. Prior involvement in functional genomics or transcriptional regulation projects will be considered a plus.
