CIRG is a Central Goat research centre for various research projects on goats We have spent one week internship here...there are 6 goat breeds available among which Barberi,Jamunapari,Beetle,Jakhrana,Bundelkhandi and Sirohi available...Mujaffarnagari sheep breeds also available,....here different departments with there respective scientist doing research projects on respective topics like AI in Goats, different designer feeds in goats, different vaccines and there efficacy etc.
It is proposed to fill contractual positions of Young Professional-1 at ICAR-Central Institute for Research on Goats, Makhdoom, P.O. Farah - 281122, Mathura (U.P.) through walk-in-interview/ examination etc.
Young Professional-1 : One Post
Name of the Project : DAPSTC Project
Essential Qualification : Graduates in Agricultural Sciences/ Science / Life Science /Animal Science.
Desirable Qualification : Experience in conducting of filed surveys, data analysis, statistical analysis, Ex technical report, writing and knowledge of extension activities.
Young Professional-1 : One Post
Name of the Project : “Development of a nanoparticle-enhanced lateral flow assay for rapid Held diagnosis of brucellosis in small ruminants
Essential Qualification : Graduate degree in Life Science/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology / Agricultural Sciences.
Desirable Qualification : • Minimum one year's experience in sample processing, molecular biology, gene cloning, recombinant DNA technology, proteomics. nanoparticle-based techniques, and basic laboratory procedures including staining, microscopy, autoclaving, glassware processing, and media preparation.
• Experience in collection of biosamples from animals, including blood, swabs, and fecal material.
• Proficiency in data entry, report preparation, English/Hindi typing, and good working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel.
Young Professional-1 : One Post
Name of the Project : AINP-AMR Project
Essential Qualification : Graduate degree in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Agricultural Sciences.
Desirable Qualification :
• At least one year experience in sample processing, staining, microscopy, general laboratory work including autoclaving, processing of glasswares, media preparation.
• Collection of biosamples from animals including blood, swabs, fecal materials etc.
• Data entry using WHO-NET software, preparation reports, statistical analysis, English/Hindi type work, good knowledge of working in MS word, MS powerpoint and MS Excel or any related software’s.
Young Professional-1 : One Post
Name of the Project : Project 1 : Computer vision and artificial intelligence techniques for livestock body weight estimation breed identification, disease and pregnancy diagnosis.
Project 2 : Development and validation of a <point-of- care pregnancy test for goats.
Project 3 : Development of novel alternative strategies for estrus synchronization in goats.
Project 4 : Maximizing fertility in goats through strategic timing of Artificial Insemination and Strengthening of Coat Semen Bank
Essential Qualification : Graduation or Diploma in Biotechnology/ Pharmacy/ Biochemistry/ Science or in relevant subjects.
Desirable Qualification : Post-graduation, Experience in Animal handling, Animal management, Collection and processing of biological samples like semen/blood/urine etc. from goats, basic knowledge semen collection, freezing. Artificial Insemination and computer proficiency in MS office, basic knowledge of computer programming languages, data structures and algorithms, database management systems, and other project related activities assigned from time to time.
Consolidated emoluments : Rs. 30,000.00 (fixed) per month.
Age : The minimum age under Young Professional-I will be 21 years and maximum 45 years with relaxation as per rules & norms in force.
Note
1. Duration of engagement: Initially up to 31.03.2026 or co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
2. The above post are purely temporary/contractual, time bound and co-terminus with the scheme or earlier, depending upon the performance of the candidate.
3. The candidates are advised to bring their duly filled in Application Bio data given details of Educational Qualification along with self-attested photocopy of all certificates, degree etc. and one recent photograph affixed thereon. They should also bring ORIGINAL Copies of all educational and other certificates for the Interview.
4. Those candidates who are already working in any project/scheme/organization should be bring “No Objection Certificate” from his present employer.
5. No candidature shall be accepted after 0 9:30 AM under any circumstances. Thus, every candidate must ensure his/her presence at the Interview venue by 09:00 AM.
6. No TA/DA etc. will be paid for attending the interview.
7. Pay (consolidated) is subject to revision on the basis of instruction issued by ICAR/sponsoring agencies from time to time.
8. All candidates shall have to wear Mask and shall maintain a social distance atleast 6 feet at all times. Candidates having symptoms of flu, fever, cough etc. shall not be allowed to appear. Every candidate shall ensure personal & surrounding hygiene at all times during their presence inside the campus.
9. The Director, ICAR-CIRG, Makhdoom reserves the right of increase/decrease the number of vacancies as per requirement and also to cancel the recruitment process for any/all of the vacancies mentioned above.
10. In case any disputes, it will be resolved within the jurisdiction of the c Court only.
The eligible and desirous candidates fulfilling the requirement may appear before the Selection Committee for interview etc. on 15th September 2025 from 9:30 AM onwards in the Dr. K.P. Pant Committee Room at ICAR- CIRG, Makhdoom.
