Openings for Pharmacists (05 posts) at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre

Dr Bhabha established the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) for carrying out nuclear science research in 1945. To intensify the effort to exploit nuclear energy for the benefit of the nation, Dr Bhabha established the Atomic Energy Establishment, Trombay (AEET) in January 1954 for multidisciplinary research program essential for the ambitious nuclear program of India. After the sad demise of Bhabha in 1966, AEET was renamed Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC).

Post : Pharmacist

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre conducts walk-in-interview for appointment of Pharmacist on Adhoc / Locum basis against Regular vacancy / Leave Vacancy.

Essential Qualification : “HSC (10+2) + 2 Year Diploma in Pharmacy + 3 month’s training in Pharmacy + Valid registration as a Pharmacist with Central or State Pharmacy Council.”
Number of Posts : 05(Five)
Desirable experience : Candidate with experience in the field will be preferred. Basic computer knowledge is essential as the Pharmacists will have to enter the details of medicine dispensed.

Emoluments : Monthly consolidated amount -Rs. 16,720/-
Plus @246% DA (pre-revised). Net pay in hand Rs.38000/- p.m.(approx.)
Period of appointment : 178 Days and Not more than 89 days at one time.
Nature of appointment : Locum -Regular/Leave Vacancy
Age limit : Not more than 50 years as on the date of interview.

Note : Candidate are advised to bring duly filled-in applications along one set of attested copies of certificates with original certificates (SSC, HSC, School leaving Certificate, Diploma/Degree, Valid Registration and experience etc.) of educational qualification, registration and experience etc. Divisional Office in the hospital will not attest the certificates.

Reporting time and Venue for verification : Candidates are advised to report at 08.30 hrs at Conference Room No.1 Gr. floor, BARC Hospital near Library. Candidates reporting after 10.00 hrs. Will not be entertained.
