Openings for Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology at BHU

Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Assistant (JRA) in a Council of Science & Technology, U.P. (CSTUP) Funded Project entitled “Fabrication, characterization, and bioefficacy of essential oil infused chitosan nanocomposite to enhance shelf-life of banana” (BHU Project Code: P-26/0165) sanctioned for a period of 03 years with a consolidated fellowship amount of Rs. 25000/- per month for two years and Rs. 28000/- per month for the third year. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Essential Qualifications
• The candidate must hold any of the following degrees : M.Sc. in Botany/Life Science /Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Agriculture, or any other relevant allied subject with first division in graduate and post-graduate examinations.
• The upper age limit should be 28 years as on 1st April, 2025.
• Only Indian citizens who are residents of Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply.

Desirable skills / Experience : Experience in microbiology laboratory techniques
Consolidated fellowship amount : Rs. 25000/- per month for two years and Rs. 28000/- per month for the third year.
