Applications are invited for one position of Junior Research Assistant (JRA) with a consolidated Fellowship amount of Rs. 25,000 per month for two years and 28,000 per month for last (third) year for a research Project entitled “Development of Indigenous Cyanobacterial-Microalgal Consortia for Sustainable Rice Growth” sanctioned by Council of Science and Technology U P. (CSTUP) valid for 03 years. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project (P-26/0157). Appointment will be governed as per BHU project guidelines.

Essential and Mandatory Qualifications :
• The candidate must hold an M.Sc. Botany/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Life Science/ Applied Microbiology / biochemistry with first division in undergraduate and post graduate examination.
• Candidates with experience in microbiology, algal biology, rice plant research and maintenance will be given preference.
• Age limit : Maximum 28 years as on 1st April 2025 (age relaxation for SC/ST/PH is as per Gol rules).
• Only Indian citizens who are residents of Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply.
