Guru Gobind Singh Medical College with 1000 beds Hospital is a Punjab Government institutionestablished in 1973. The Govt. of Punjab, vide its Notification No.8/02/2005-1HB-III/6308 dated31.10.2006 transferred this college to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot as itsconstituent Medical College. The College is recognized by Medical Council of India vide its Letter No.MCI 34941(UG)2010-PUN/35407 dated 22.10.2010 for 50 MBBS admissions per year.

Age : Below 35 years on the date of interview
Salary : Rs 28,000+ 10% HRA
Tenure : Initially for period of 6 month, extendable up to the duration of the project based on the performance and availability of the funds under this research project PURELY ON TEMPORARY BASIS
Essential Qualification : 1. MB.B.S. or B.D.S. Or
2. Three-year Graduation in medical Subjects /field or equivalent and three-year post qualification experience Or
3. Post-graduation in medical Subjects / field Subjects : Medical/ Nursing/ Physiotherapy/ Pharmacy/ Pharm- D/Dental or equivalent
Desirable Qualification : Experienced of Trial/ Studies for 2 year or Equivalent knowledge of computers
General terms and conditions :
1. The applicant must enclose a demand draft of Non-refundable in favour of The Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot payable at Faridkot as under:-
General Category- Rs. 1770 (Fee Rs. 1500+ GST Rs. 270 @ 18 %)
SC Category- Rs. 885 (Fee Rs. 750 + GST Rs. 135 @ 18 %)
2. The University has the right to increase or decrease the number of posts at any stage without citing any reason or not to fill any or all the posts.
3. The Application on prescribed Performa must accompany self-attested copies of certificates for proof of date of birth, marks sheet, degree, experience, etc.
4. The applications received without a valid bank draft or without legible copies of documents or apparently containing incomplete information and those received after the prescribed date & time will be summarily rejected.
5. Candidates already in service must route their application through the Proper Channel.
6. Separate application/Performa may be used for each post.
7. No TA/DA will be paid for the interview.
