Erstwhile Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board (CSEB) was responsible for Generation, Transmission and Distribution of electricity in Chhattisgarh State. In accordance with the provisions contained in the Section 131-134 of Electricity Act 2003, Govt. of Chhattisgarh has reorganized erstwhile CSEB.

In continuation of this office's advertisement No. 02-06/TA-GA-27/2025-26/12 dated 04.04.2025 regarding selection for one-year apprenticeship for the year 2025-26 under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 (as amended in 1973, 1986 & 2014) in CST Dist. Co. Ltd., applications are invited from ST candidates till 25.09.2025 for 23 vacant ST posts against the said advertisement.

Educational Qualification from a recognized Institution : B.Pharma / B.E. / B.Tech /B.C.A./B.B.A./B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.
Graduate in any discipline
Diploma in Engineering in any discipline

Stipend : Rs. 9,000/- per month for graduates and Rs. 8000/- per month for diploma holders.

Note : The period between the date of acquisition of educational qualification and the date of joining the apprenticeship should be five years or less.

Terms and Conditions
1. Selection Process : Candidates will be selected for apprenticeship based on the merit list of the received applications based on the marks obtained in the graduation/diploma examination.
2. Training Period : Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year only. After completion of the training, candidates will not be eligible for any type of temporary or permanent employment in CGSTEPA Dist. Co. Ltd.
3. Candidates with one year or more of work experience or who have undergone/are undergoing similar training in any other organization are not eligible for selection.
4. Selected candidates will be required to submit a declaration at the time of joining the training that they have not previously received training under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (as amended in 1973, 1986 & 2014).
Candidates must submit a self-affidavit on stamp paper of Rs. 10 if the educational qualification is less than one year or one year from the date of declaration of the examination result and the date of commencement of training, and on stamp paper of Rs. 20 if the qualification is less than five years or five years. Candidates who have completed more than five years of graduation will not be eligible for training.
5. Apprentices will not be provided with hostel or transport facilities.
6. Candidates must register with the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) (www.nats.education.gov.in) and must include their registration number in the application form.
7. The application form is enclosed; please submit the application in the prescribed format only.
8. Incomplete or unclear applications will be rejected without notice.
9. Applicants must be a native of Chhattisgarh.

10. It is mandatory to attach photocopies of the following certificates with the application form:
a. Photocopies of 10th and 12th mark sheets.
b. Photocopy of Graduation/Diploma mark sheet/certificate.
c. SC/ST/OBC candidates must attach a photocopy of their permanent caste certificate issued by the competent authority of the Chhattisgarh Government.
d. Photocopy of their permanent residence certificate.
e. National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Registration Form, in which the Registration Number and other details are filled.
11. Last date for application - 25.09.2025. Applications can be submitted by post or directly to the office (office hours: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm) until 25.09.2025. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
12.
