Applications are invited for the following purely temporary post of Junior Research Assistant in the Council of Science & Technology, U.P. (CSTUP) funded project entitled “Investigation of Radiation -Induced Chromosomal Aberrations: In-Vivo Dosimetry in Cancer Patients and Healthcare Professionals” under Principal Investigator (PI) Dr Teerthraj Verma, Professor, Department of Radiotherapy, King George’s Medical University (KGMU), UP Lucknow.
Post : Junior Research Assistant (JRA) - 01 Post
Qualification Essential : MSc in Life Sciences / Biomedical Sciences / Biochemistry / Physiology / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Microbiology / Cancer Biology or equivalent in first division with first class in graduation.
Desirable : Working experience of Radiation Bio- dosimetry, Combat Casualty Management, Radiation Countermeasures, Genomics, Machine Learning and AI.
Duration of the project : Three years
Consolidated Salary : INR 25000/- Per Month (first two years) and INR 28000 per month (in third year)

General information/details of the post :
• The applicant should be Indian citizen and resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• The screening of the applications will be done as per the requirements of the project and guidelines.
• The interview for selection of the JRA (1 post) will be conducted in the room of undersigned at Department of Radiotherapy, King George’s Medical University, UP Lucknow.
• No email/call letter would be sent separately to the applicants for attending the interview. Candidates attending the interview are directed to report with all the relevant documents in original at 09:30 AM on October 14, 2025.
• No communication for change of date, time and venue etc. will be entertained.
• The candidate selected would be encouraged to enrol in PhD program of KGMU as per the prevailing guidelines in this regard.
• Age Limit : Upper age limit is 28 years as on 01/04/2025.
• Appointment ot the applicant will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency i.e. CSTUP.
• In service candidate should produce “No Objection Certificate” at the time of Interview. Appointment ol selected candidate can be terminated at any time for unsatisfactory performance. Ihe selected candidate will have to join the post/dutv immediately on receipt of the offer.
• No TA/DA would be given for attending the interview.
