The origins of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) are rooted in the Indian Cancer Research Centre (ICRC), which was established in 1952 in Parel, Mumbai, under the purview of the Ministry of Health, Government of India. In 1966, ICRC was renamed the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) and amalgamated with the Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), creating the first comprehensive cancer centre in India - the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), an autonomous grant-in-aid institution of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India.

To work on project entitled on ‘Development of stem cells derived cell therapies for clinical application’
Essential Educational Qualification & Experience : Mandatory : 1. First class post graduate degree, including the integrated PG degree, with 3 years experience.
2. Second class post graduate degree, including the integrated PG degrees with Ph.D.
Desirable : Candidates with experience related to regenerative medicine/stem cell research or experience in clinical grade manufacturing will be given preference.
Consolidated Salary : Rs. 71,120/-per month (Rs.56,000/- + 27% HRA)
Age : Maximum age 35year at time of interview.
Duration : Six months and extendable.
(The work progress of the candidate will be monitored and extension after 6 months will depend on satisfactory progress of the work.)
