Jail, which is also known as prison, is a place used for the detention of prisoners. To maintain the administrative arrangement in the Jails of Chhattisgarh, Jail Superintendents are posted in the Central Jails and District Jails. Medical Officers are posted as a Superintendent in Sub Jails.

Qualification:
1) Under the 10 + 2 system, passed Higher School Examination or passed Higher Secondary Science examination ( with Biology) under the old system.
2) Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized university

Age: 18 - 30 years (as on 1 January, 2018)

Nature of work for the post : Preservation of medicines in District Hospital Drug Store and distribution of medicines to patient prisoners

With an application, the attested copies of the resident certificate of Chhattisgarh will be attached with the academic qualification, technical efficiency and the competent authority.
