Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology (SCTIMST), Thiruvananthapuram is an Institute of National Importance established by an Act of the Indian Parliament and under the 2 administrative control of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
The Institute signifies the convergence of Medical Sciences and Technology and its mission is to enable the indigenous growth of biomedical technology, besides demonstrating high standards of patient care in medical specialties and evolving postgraduate training programs. It has a hospital for tertiary care of cardiovascular and neurological diseases, and research programmes in the areas of basic and applied medical sciences, a Biomedical Technology Wing with facilities and research programmes for developing medical devices from a conceptual stage to commercialization, and The Achutha Menon Centre for Health Science Studies for training and research in public health.

Qualification & Experience:
(1) 1st Class Master of Science (MSc) in Computational (Essential) Biology or Bioinformatics with NET
(2) Two years working experience in MRI and fMRI Post processing in a research project
Monthly emoluments:
Rs. 28000/- + 20% HRA per month
Age limit as on 31-10-2016: 35 years.
Tenure of Appointment : 1 Year (extendable upto 3 years) or till completion of the project whichever is earlier.
