Lead and take full accountability of Global Insights within a Global Program Team (GPT)/Global Brand Team (GBT) and provide strategic insights that shape/develop program/brand strategy and challenging current thinking
Provide comprehensive outside-in strategic perspective bringing value adding insights on patients, customers, competitors, payers and regulators
Ensure integration of research, intelligence, analytics and intuition to generate insights that enable fact based decision making
Provide guidance to the team on leading IPS Situational Analysis including Unified Patient Journey, development and alignment of Strat Planning assumptions and forecasts
Guide the team in managing interdependencies between Franchises / Products related to indications including launch sequencing, strategy, commercial valuations etc.
Support key development decision points (DDP, FDP) with commercial market opportunity assessment, positioning, segmentation for products in new indications
Provide expertise and functional guidance to design and plan all facets (key Business and intelligence Questions) to enable execution of market research, competitive intelligence and analytics based on a sound understanding of the research tools, techniques and datasets
Bring localized insights into World Wide Brand / Program strategy by collaborating with Regions/CPOs and challenge current thinking offering alternative solutions where appropriate
Enable rapid and appropriate assessment of risks and opportunities in IPS and Strat Plan
Engage with broader (internal and external) stakeholders to understand and bring insights into treatment pathways, incentives/money flow, market access etc.
Ensure efficient and sustainable vendor relationship’s following agreed KPIs
Ensure Compliance to key Novartis processes (POP-PSP, etc) across all activities with customers/patients
10+ years relevant experience acquired at pharmaceutical companies and /or strategic, marketing, or health care consultancy companies of which 7+ years in two areas of either Market Research/Brand Management/Analytics with a leading pharma company / solution provider
Superior analytical skills – high comfort in using tools (eg Excel) to analyze and visualize data via standard tools/charting methods; ability to effectively present and defend analyses
Project Management Excellence in facilitation of international, crossfunctional teams within a high matrix environment
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple people and projects simultaneously
