Research Recruitment for Pharma candidates under Lady Tata Memorial Trust

Applications are invited for the post of one (01) Project Research Scientist I (PRS I) for a Lady Tata Memorial Trust (LTMT) sponsored project entitled ‘Clinical Outcome of Relapsed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and its Correlation with Mutational Status in Pediatric and Young adult Patients’ under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Rajib De, Professor, Department of Haematology, Nil Ratan Sircar (NRS) Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata. The position is purely contractual and is co-terminus with the project.

Post : Project Research Scientist I (PRS I)

Remuneration : Rs. 56,000 + HRA
Number of Posts : One (01)
Upper age limit : 35 years

Essential Qualifications : Ph.D. or having 3 years of research, teaching & design and development experience after M.Sc/ M.Tech/ M.Pharm in relevant subject with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable Qualifications / experience : • Knowledge on Molecular Biology, Flow cytometry, FISH, Sequencing techniques and Data interpretation.
• Experience in handling patient samples.

Responsibility :
• Interaction with patients
• Interaction with doctors
• Communication with technical personnel
• Main task includes : handling patient samples (blood & bone marrow) and performing Flow cytometry, Fluorescence In-situ Hybridization (FISH), quantitative PCR (qPCR), Sequencing data interpretation, Statistical analysis, timely report preparation.
