Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following positions under a consultancy project sponsored by the Hamdard Food India (HFI) in the Centre of Excellence in Unani Medicine (Pharmacognosy & Pharmacology), School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER), Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.

Post Doc/ RA - 02 posts
Project Title : Development of Next-Generation Roohafza
Principle Investigator : Prof (Dr) Sayeed Ahmad, Director, Centre of Excellence in Unani Medicine (Pharmacognosy & Pharmacology), School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (SPER), Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.
Interview : The shortlisted candidates for the interview will be intimated through email.
Essential qualifications : PhD in Food Technology/ Pharmaceutics/ Pharmacognosy / Pharmacology
Or
MTech Food Technology/ M.Pharm. Pharmaceutics / Pharmacognosy / Pharmacology with minimum of 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA. GPAT/NET/GATE qualified candidate will be preferred Candidates with two years of research experience in Industry on Carbonated drinks/ Formulation development/ Analysis/ Scientific Validation of Natural Products will be preferred.
Emoluments (Rs.) : 40k to 50k per month, consolidated

Project Assistant - 01 post
Essential qualifications : B. Tech Food Technology/ MSc Food Science and Technology/ B.Pharm/ D.Pharm or equivalent
Emoluments (Rs.) : 20,000/- per month consolidated

Terms and conditions
1. The above position is purely contractual for a tenure of 1 year which may be extended based on the performance of the candidate up to a maximum of 3 years or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier. The continuation of the fellowship is subject to satisfactory performance.
2. Selected candidate will not be entitled to claim for regular appointment/absorption in the institute.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
