The Institute has trained over 1000 medical graduates and postgraduates in broad and sub specialties who are working in the different parts of the country and abroad. The Week magazine, some time ago, rated SGPGIMS as being amongst the top 10 Medical Institutions of the country.The Institute has also been designated as the nodal centre for the National Organ Procurement and Transplant Network program of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India under the National Transplant Act. Indira Gandhi National Open University and the Ministry of Health, Government of India have designated SGPGIMS as a program study centre for dialysis training as a part of the National Transplant Program.
Applications are invited in prescribed format for the following positions in research Project “Prospective Plasma Virome Profiling by NGS for Early Prediction of Viral Reactivation and Graft Dysfunction in Renal Transplant Recipients”, funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi under Principal Investigator Dr. Atul Garg, Department of Microbiology, SGPGIMS, Lucknow.
Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
Number of post : 01 (One)
Salary per month : ₹ 56,000.00 + HRA @ 20%
Essential Qualification :
1. Post Graduate in life sciences including integrated courses.
Desirable :
1. Candidates with working experience of NGS, Bioinformatics, Computation biology will be given preference.
2. Ph.D. in Microbiology/ Virology/ Biotechnology
3. Additional Post-Doctoral Research/training experience in project related work
Project Technical Support-III
Number of post : 01 (One)
Salary per month : ₹ 28,000.00 + HRA @ 20%
Essential Qualification :
1. B. Sc. life sciences/ B.Sc. (MLT) from recognized University – three Years post qualification experience.
OR
2. M. Sc. life sciences/ M.Sc. (MLT).
Desirable :
1. Candidates with work experience in Virology/ Molecular Biology laboratories in medical Institutes will be given preference.
2. Knowledge of computer application.
