National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Raebareli (NIPER-R) is an autonomous Institute of National Importance set up by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India by an act of parliament, to impart high-quality Education & Research in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Institute intends to fill the following Project positions in the UP-CST-sponsored project.

Post : Junior Research Asst. (One)

Salary : 25,000/- per month (Consolidated)
Duration : Initially for one year which is extendable up to project duration based on satisfactory performance.

Name of Sponsoring Agency / Project : UP-CST, sponsored project entitled ““Exploration of multi-targeted Novel Aza-/Thia-heterocycles as selective Acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and β-Secretase (BACE1) Inhibitors: A systematic Investigation towards the development of Anti- Alzheimer’s agents”

Qualification and Experience :
Essential Qualifications : 1. MS Pharm / M. Pharm./ MTech in (Pharmacology/Pharmacology & Toxicology/Regulatory Toxicology/Biotechnology/Pharmaceutic al Chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry) or MVSc (Pharmacology/ Pathology/ Biotechnology) or M.Sc. (Life science / Neuroscience / Biochemistry/ Pharmacology/Toxicology/Organic Chemistry) with at least 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale or 60% marks.
2. The candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
Desirable Qualification / Skills : GPAT/GATE/NET qualification and research experience in the related area, e.g., hands-on experience in animal handling, enzyme-based assay, cell culture, and molecular biology techniques etc.

Maximum Age limit : 28 yrs. The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of SC/ST/OBC/ women and physically handicapped candidates as per Govt. of India norms

1. The candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
2. The candidate must ensure that he possesses the prescribed qualification before appearing for the walk-in interview.
