Name of Project : “Composite materials based on bacterial cellulose with environmentally oriented functions ensuring chemical and biological safety”.

Name of Sponsoring Agency : Department of Science & Technology (DST)
Duration of the Position : 3 years

Fellowship / Monthly Compensation : 37000+20% HRA for 1st and 2nd Year as JRF (Junior Research Fellowship), 42000+20%HRA for 3rd year as SRF (Senior Research Fellowship).

Qualification : M.Sc. in Microbiology/Life sciences/ Biosciences/Botany/Zoology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Environmental Sciences with CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualification.
Candidates qualifying any other national-level exam conducted by national agencies like DBT, DST, ICAR, ICMR, DAE, MHRD, DRDO, IIT, IISER, etc. are also eligible to apply, provided they have an M.Sc. in any of the disciplines.

Desirable Qualification : 1. Relevant experience in basic microbiology (handling and culturing of bacteria, biocatalysis, bioremediation) supported by thesis/dissertation report/publication(s).
2. Candidates should have passion and dedication for research.

Age Limit : 28 Years (age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and women candidates as per Govt. of India/DST’s instructions).
