Project Title : Small Molecule Inhibitors for Treatment of Tuberculosis

Job Description : Molecular modeling and computational calculations using AL/ML- assisted Drug Discovery tools, Chemical synthesis of inhibitors, Column chromatographic purification, Characterization using various spectroscopic techniques such as 1H, 13C-NMR, HRMS, IR, Documentation of experiments, Writing quarterly progress and Annual reports, PowerPoint Presentation of quarterly and annual work reports, and Biological evaluation (in vitro & in vivo) of small- molecule heterocyclic inhibitors for the treatment of infectious diseases caused by Mycobacterial strains, purchase of chemicals, processing invoices, maintenance of laboratory instruments and other duties necessary for the successful implementation of the project.
Essential Qualification : First class in M.Sc Chemistry/Biochemistry or B.Tech Biological Sciences, B.Pharm/M.Pharm with valid GATE, UGC/CSIR-LS, GPAT Rank or Score
Desirable Qualification : First class in M.Sc Chemistry/Biochemistry or B.Tech in Biological Sciences, or B.Pharm or M.Pharm with valid GATE, UGC/CSIR NET- LS, GPAT Rank or Score
Age Limit : 20-25 years
Fellowship Details : INR 44,440/- per month (Inclusive 20% HRA)
