Govt. of India funded Fellowship for Biotechnology, Microbiology candidates at BRIC-IBSD

Applications are invited from deserved and suitable candidates for the following posts under the project entitled “Living Loops: Engineering an Edible Algae -Mushroom Symbiosis for Self-Sustaining Space Ecosystems” funded by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India at BRIC-IBSD, Imphal.

Post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF) (01 nos.)

Monthly Remuneration : Rs. 42,000/- + 9% HRA per month

Upper age limit : 35

Duration : 02 years or till the completion of the project.

Essential Qualifications : M.Tech in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Bioengineering/ Bioprocess Engineering/ Technology, Industrial Microbiology, M.Sc. Biotechnology, Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology.

Desirables : Having work experience in Algae/Fungi and Bioprocess Engineering, etc.

1. The above position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidate shall
not claim for regular appointment either in BRIC-IBSD, Imphal and its branches or DBT, New Delhi.
2. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
3. The upper age limit is relaxable for reserved categories as per GoI norms.
