The All India Institute of Medical Sciences [AIIMS] was designed to serve as a nucleus for nurturing excellence in all aspects of health and wellness program throughout India. AIIMS are a group of autonomous public medical institutions that have been declared by an Act of Parliament 1956 as “Institute of National Importance”. AIIMS Mangalagiri is one of the AIIMS healthcare institutions being established by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna (PMSSY).

Eligibility Criteria : First class postgraduate degree in Microbiology/ Virology / Medical Genetics / Molecular biology/ Biotechnology from a recognized university. OR Second class Postgraduate in Microbiology/ Virology / Medical Genetics / Molecular biology / Biotechnology from a recognized university with PhD degree in Microbiology/Virology / Medical Genetics / Molecular biology/ Biotechnology from a recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in virology research and knowledge of computer applications. Age limit not exceeding 35 years

Salary : Rs. 56000+HRA

Instructions to Candidates
1. Age limit : As mentioned above. Note : Upper age limit may be relaxed as per Govt. of India rules.
2. Qualification, experience, other terms and conditions may be relaxed/ altered at the discretion of the Project Investigator.
3. The posts will be Purely Contractual for a period of FIVE Years and renewal of tenure has to be done for every 11 months from the date of joining.
4. Field visits will be required by the selected candidates and no additional remuneration will be paid for the same.
5. The selected candidate shall have to do Sunday, Holiday and exigency duties as per the requirement of the laboratory.
6. Written tests may be conducted if the number of candidates applied is more.
7. Based on the written examination results on the day of the interview, candidates will be shortlisted for an interview on the same day.
8. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
9. Valid email id and mobile number is compulsory.
10. No other allowance/ facilities other than consolidated salary shall be extended.

11. Submission of wrong or false information during the process of selection shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.
12. If performance of the appointee is not found satisfactory by the investigator, appointment can be terminated at any time without any notice.
13. The appointee may be relieved from the current job position, with one-month prior notice, failing to do so may be held responsible for paying one-month salary.
14. Depending upon the number of eligible applicants, a written test may be conducted for shortlisting candidates for interview. Details of the selection process/schedule will be notified on the AIIMS Mangalagiri website.
15. Please come prepared to stay one more day after the schedule date, in case, schedule overruns.
16. Please make your own arrangements at your cost for your stay in for attending the walk-in interview, during the period.

20. The engagement may be terminated in accordance with the terms of appointment and applicable ICMR/Institute rules. A candidate wishing to leave the position after joining shall be governed by the notice provisions specified in the appointment/engagement order

22. Candidates upon selection will have to submit an undertaking relating to the terms and conditions of engagement as per the ICMR guidelines.
23. Candidates are required to carry the hard copy of the application form and all Original Documents on the day of the Exam / Interview, failing which may result in cancellation of the candidature of the applicant.
