Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist-I in a ICMR Sponsored Project entitled “Novel mitochondrial mediated and brain targeted pharmacotherapy for alcohol use disorder” sanctioned up to 3 years. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

PI : Prof. Sairam Krishnamurthy, Professor & Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi – 221005, UP, India

Salary : 56000/- + 20% HRA per month

Essential Qualification : (i) First class M. Pharm/M. S. (Pharm.)/M. Tech (Pharm) in Pharmacology; OR (ii) Second class M. Pharm/M. S. (Pharm.)/M. Tech (Pharm) in Pharmacology with PhD in Pharmacology. Aforementioned qualification(s) must be from the recognized Board/ University/ Institute.

Desirable Qualifications : Qualified in GATE/GPAT/CSIR-UGC-NET including lectureship. Candidates with previous experience in animal handling, molecular studies, histopathology techniques, in vitro screening, and experience in scientific writing as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications will be preferred.
