About the Dynamic Research Ecosystem in Advanced Materials (DREAMS) Consortium
The DREAMS consortium aims to revolutionize materials research by advancing both functional and structural materials, driving rapid technological progress across diverse disciplines. Supported by the ANRF-PAIR scheme, DREAMS seeks to build a sustainable collaborative and mentoring network that grows beyond its initial seven SPOKE institutions. It will promote integrated education, research, and capacity building across the region. Together, the consortium envisions a dynamic research ecosystem that fuels innovation in materials science, impacting fields such as energy, structural design, microelectronics, and advanced manufacturing, and positioning India as a leader in next-generation material technologies.
