Applications are invited for Pharmacist under Chief Medical and Health Officer

The Secretary, Chhattisgarh Government, General Administration Department, Mantralaya, Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, vide letter No. RULE/24/2026-GAD-3, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, dated 09.02.2026, and the letter No. /Health/2026/2818 issued by the Office of the Collector and District Magistrate, Sakti District, Chhattisgarh, dated 01.07.2026, state that recruitment advertisements are being published for the following contractual posts under the National Health Mission (NHM) for the financial year 2026–27, in accordance with the district's approved R.O.P. (Record of Proceedings) and the guidelines laid down in the National Health Mission/District Health Committee, District Sakti, as well as the Human Resource Policy, 2018. 

Interested and eligible candidates must submit their application forms in the prescribed format, addressed to the Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Janjgir-Champa, Chhattisgarh, through registered post or speed post. 

Post : Pharmacist (RBSK)

No of posts : 03 
Salary : Rs 16,500/- pm
Education Qualification : Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy and Live Registration in Pharmacy Registration Council.

Rules, Conditions and Guidelines
1. Regarding the application form and recruitment advertisement
1.1 This recruitment shall be conducted in accordance with the final order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, New Delhi, in SLP(C) No. 19668/2022.
1.2 The application form and the general terms and guidelines concerning recruitment to the advertised posts, along with information for selected candidates, may be viewed and downloaded from the official district website: www.janjgir-champa.gov.in. No information will be provided through any other medium.
1.3 The application form, along with self-attested copies of all essential documents, must be submitted during office hours, up to 5:00 PM on 23 October 2026, to the office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Janjgir-Champa, Chhattisgarh, through registered post or speed post. Applications may be sent through the postal service. Applications submitted by any other means will not be accepted.
1.4 Applications received after the prescribed deadline or outside the stipulated period will not be accepted under any circumstances.
1.5 The applicant must be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh. A permanent residence certificate issued by the competent authority must be submitted.
1.6 Incomplete or incorrectly filled application forms will not be accepted. Applicants must carefully follow the instructions in the recruitment advertisement and provide all information accurately and completely. If any information is found to be incomplete, incorrect, or misleading, the application may be rejected at any stage of the selection process without prior notice. The department will not be responsible for postal delays if an application does not arrive by the prescribed deadline.
1.7 Applicants must possess the prescribed educational qualifications from a recognized educational board, institution, or university, as applicable to the advertised post. The qualification must be recognized by the relevant regulatory body or authority, such as the relevant council or commission, wherever applicable.
1.8 Applicants must submit the experience certificate issued by their employer. Those currently employed must also submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer. The certificate must clearly mention the issuing office's reference number and date.
1.9 Applicants must clearly mention the name of the post applied for and the applicable category, such as Unreserved, Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Class (OBC), or Persons with Disabilities (PwD), as applicable.
1.10 Applicants must attach self-attested photocopies of their mark sheets and certificates demonstrating the required educational qualifications for each year of study.
1.11 Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate application form and separate application fee for each post.

2. Application Fee
The application fee depends on the applicant’s category and monthly family income, as shown in the table below.

Other Backward Classes (OBC) : ₹200
Unreserved Category (General) : ₹300
Monthly income above ₹25,000
Persons with Disabilities (PwD) / SC / ST / Women : ₹200

Unreserved Category (General) : ₹400
Payee for the Demand Draft (DD):
The application fee must be paid by Demand Draft in favour of:
DISTRICT HEALTH SOCIETY, Non NHM Other Fund Janjgir
The Demand Draft must be prepared through a bank and submitted with the application.

2.1 Conditions regarding the application fee
1. The application fee must be submitted through a Demand Draft issued by a nationalized bank in favour of District Health Society, Non NHM Other Fund Janjgir.
2. The original Demand Draft must be attached to the application form.
3. No other method of payment will be accepted.
4. The Demand Draft number must be clearly mentioned in the application form.
5. Applications submitted without the prescribed application fee will not be considered.
6. Candidates applying for more than one post must submit a separate Demand Draft for each post.
7. The application fee is non-refundable. It will not be returned under any circumstances.


Rules and Conditions Regarding Experience
1. Experience certificates
Only experience certificates issued by government, semi-government, or government-funded institutions will be considered valid.
For work experience relevant to the post applied for:
- Candidates who have worked under the National Health Mission (NHM), Chhattisgarh, will receive 3 marks per completed year, up to a maximum of 15 marks.
- Other candidates will receive 2 marks per completed year, up to a maximum of 10 marks.
NHM experience marks will be awarded only when the experience certificate clearly states that the candidate worked under the National Health Mission.
2. Experience as a Mitanin
Women who have received ANM/GNM/nursing training and have experience working as a Mitanin will receive 4 marks per year, up to a maximum of 20 marks for five years.
Only experience certificates issued by the State Health Resource Centre, Raipur, will be considered valid for this purpose.
3. Additional marks for COVID-19 service
Under the Chhattisgarh Government, Health and Family Welfare Department order dated 7 December 2021, temporary healthcare workers who were appointed to government health institutions in Chhattisgarh during the COVID-19 pandemic and provided continuous service for at least six months will receive 10 bonus marks when applying for Class III and Class IV posts in the department.
The experience certificate issued by the competent authority or head of the institution will be accepted.
4. Proof of COVID-19 work
The 10 bonus marks for COVID-19 service will be awarded only to candidates who attach a copy of their appointment order and an experience certificate issued by the competent authority or head of the institution as proof of their COVID-19 work.
5. Calculation of experience marks
Experience marks will be calculated only for completed years of service. Experience of less than 12 months will not be counted.
6. Validity of the experience certificate
An experience certificate containing overwriting or errors will be treated as invalid.
7. Relevance of experience
The experience must relate to the post for which the candidate has applied.
8. Training and unpaid service
Experience gained through training or unpaid service will not be considered valid, even if an experience certificate is submitted.

Waiting List
1. Validity of the waiting list
A waiting list may be published for the advertised posts. The waiting list will remain valid for one year from the date of publication of the selection list.
2. Number of candidates on the waiting list
The number of candidates included in the waiting list will depend on the total number of advertised posts:

Total advertised posts Waiting-list candidates
Up to 25 posts : 200% of the advertised posts
26–50 posts  : 150% of the advertised posts
More than 50 posts  : 100% of the advertised posts
The waiting list will be used to fill vacancies that arise, as applicable.
9.3 Increase in the waiting list
The Selection Committee will have the authority to increase the number of candidates on the waiting list, taking the current requirements into consideration.

Document Verification
1. Accuracy of documents
All documents submitted by candidates must be correct and consistent with the details provided in the application form.
If, during or after the final selection, any information in the application is found to be incorrect, incomplete, or misleading, the candidate's selection may be cancelled at any stage.
2. Recognition of educational institutions
The institution from which the candidate obtained the educational qualification must be recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and the relevant regulatory council, as applicable.
3. Documents required at the written examination, skill test, interview, and after selection

Candidates must bring or submit the original documents along with one self-attested photocopy of each applicable document.
The required documents include:
1. Class 8 mark sheet, where Class 8 qualification is required for the post.
2. Class 10 mark sheet.
3. Class 12 mark sheet.
4. Mark sheets for all years of the minimum educational qualification prescribed for the relevant post.
5. Mark sheets for all years of any desirable educational qualification prescribed for the post.
6. Graduation or postgraduation degree/certificate from a recognized university.
7. Mark sheet or certificate for a computer diploma or degree from a recognized institution.
8. Degree or certificate for the mandatory technical or professional qualification required under the advertisement.
9. Registration certificate issued by the relevant council, or proof of valid registration, as applicable.
10. Caste certificate and residence certificate issued by the competent authority, where applicable. Where required, a copy authenticated by the higher-level scrutiny committee must be submitted.
11. Chhattisgarh state domicile certificate.
12. Identity proof, such as Aadhaar card, voter ID, PAN card, or driving licence, displaying the candidate's name and photograph.
13. Disability certificate, if the candidate belongs to the Persons with Disabilities category.
14. Experience certificate and a copy of the appointment order.
15. Certificate supporting any special relaxation or concession claimed.
16. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer, where applicable.
17. Integrated Certificate in Community Health, where required for the Community Health Officer post.
18. Any other documents required for the relevant post, where applicable.
Candidates must attach self-attested copies of the applicable documents with their application. 

Other Rules and Conditions
1. Execution of the contract
After receiving the appointment order from the appointing authority, the candidate must execute a contractual agreement with the appointing authority on ₹50 non-judicial stamp paper. The candidate will bear the cost of executing the agreement.
2. Submission of claims and objections
When claims and objections are invited, the prescribed format will be issued. Claims and objections will be accepted only in that prescribed format. No application or objection will be accepted after the specified deadline.
3. Disposal of claims and objections
Candidates will be given adequate time to submit claims and objections. If errors are found in an application or a published list, the committee constituted at the district level will examine the objections and make a decision.
Claims or objections submitted after the prescribed deadline will not be accepted. New documents submitted as part of a claim or objection after the final date specified in the recruitment advertisement will also not be accepted.
4. Correction of errors
Errors arising during the advertisement or recruitment process, including calculation errors, clerical errors, or typographical errors, may be corrected. Information regarding such corrections will be published officially.
5. Joining after selection
Selected candidates must report to the office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Sakti, on the prescribed date and during the specified office hours to take up their positions, as directed.
Failure to report within the prescribed date and time will result in automatic cancellation of the candidate's appointment. The candidate will be responsible for the consequences.
6. Authority to resolve disputes
The District-Level Selection Committee and the Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Sakti, Chhattisgarh, will have the authority to make the final decision on disputes or problems arising during the recruitment process.
7. Changes to advertised vacancies
The number of advertised posts may be increased or decreased as required.
For special reasons, the District Health Society or the Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Janjgir-Champa, Chhattisgarh, will have the authority to cancel an advertised post or the entire recruitment advertisement.
8. Details of attached documents
Candidates must clearly mention in the application form the details of all documents attached to the application.
12. Candidates Whose Previous Employment Was Terminated
Candidates whose services have been terminated by the National Health Mission, or by any government, semi-government, or government-funded institution, due to indiscipline, financial irregularities, or misconduct will be placed in the category of ineligible candidates.
13. Applicable Human Resource Policy
During the recruitment process and throughout the period of service, the provisions of the Human Resource Policy 2018 issued under the National Health Mission, together with its amended provisions and any other instructions, orders, or regulations issued from time to time by the higher authorities, will remain applicable.
14. Cancellation of Recruitment
If suitable candidates are not available, the Selection Committee may cancel the recruitment process and re-advertise the posts.
15. Procedure for Direct Recruitment in Newly Created Districts
According to the Chhattisgarh Government, General Administration Department, Mantralaya, Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, letter No. RULE/24/2026-GAD-3, dated 9 February 2026, concerning direct recruitment in newly created districts:
The selection list for vacant contractual posts in the district will be forwarded to the Collector, District Sakti, in accordance with the sanctioned posts and vacancies. The Collector will then undertake the necessary procedure for issuing appointment orders for the respective posts.

Applications will be accepted during office hours up to 23 October 2026, until 5:00 PM. 
Applications submitted through any other means or delivered directly will not be accepted.
