AIIMS inviting application for Research Fellowships - PG in Pharmacy Practice, Clinical Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacology apply

Applications are invited for One (01) post of Research Associate III purely on contract basis in the Extramural project, 'Technical Resource Centre (TRC) under the Centre for Evidence for Guidelines', Funded by the Department of Health Research, New Delhi, Under PI Dr Anusuya Bhattacharyya, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Ophthalmology, AIIMS Guwahati, Kamrup, Assam.

Post : Research Associate-III (01 post)

Eligibility
Essential : Post Graduate Degree in Pharmacy Practice/ Clinical Pharmacy/ Clinical Pharmacology/ Epidemiology/ Public Health/Biostatistics/ Health Economics/ Health Technology Assessment/Pharm D with 3 years of Teaching/Research experience with at least one research paper in SCI journal OR Ph.D. in Pharmacy Practice/ Clinical Pharmacy/ Clinical Pharmacology/ Clinical Epidemiology/ Public Health/ Biostatistics/Health Economics/ Health Technology Assessment with at least one research paper in SCI journal

Desirable (As per project requirement) :
Preference will be given to the candidate with:
1. Experience in conducting systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and network metaanalysis.
2. Hands-on experience in conducting metaanalysis using RevMan, CMA, STATA, R Programming, or Python.
3. Expertise in assessing the quality of evidence using the GRADE approach.
4. Publications on systematic review and metaanalysis as first or corresponding author in SCI journals.
5. Publishing high quality research with high impact factor journal in SCI journal
6. Involving in the preparation of healthcare guidelines.

Age : 40 years as on the last date of application. (Age limit relax able as per Government of India guidelines)

Emoluments / month : 67,000/-month + HRA as applicable

General Instructions
1. Nationality: Only candidates of Indian Nationality are eligible to apply for these positions.
2. Application Mode: It is mandatory to submit applications both online through the included Google Form as well as offline (Hard copy). Hard copy should be reached in stipulated time.
3. Eligibility Verification: Candidates must ensure they meet the minimum essential qualifications, age, and experience criteria as laid down in the advertisement. Screening will be based strictly on the data submitted in the application form. Providing false or incorrect information will lead to immediate rejection of the candidature at any stage of the recruitment process.
4. Documentation: Incomplete applications or those missing self-attested supporting documents (e.g., Proof of Date of Birth, Degree Certificates and Experience Certificates etc) will be summarily rejected.
5. Selection Prerogative: Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview call. The Institute reserves the right to set higher benchmarks for short listing and the right not to fill any of the advertised positions due to administrative exigencies.
6. Communication: All official intimations will be sent exclusively via Email or hosted on the Institute website. Candidates should regularly check their registered email and the AIIMS, Guwahati website for updates.
7. Nature of Appointment: Appointments are strictly on a contractual basis initially for up to one year (extendable). However, the position is terminus at any point in time.The selected candidate should work for a period of at least one month, failing which, the emoluments drawn by him / her has to be forfeited.
8. The engagement can be terminated with one-month notice from either side without assigning any reason.
9. Since, the project position(s) is / are temporary; the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointment at AIIMS, Guwahati or continuation of his / her services in any other project against any Institute post. Any subsequent engagement will be treated as a fresh appointment.
10. All candidate should upload recommendation letter from last employee (In case of project, PI and others as applicable, mandatory document to be uploaded in online form and to be produced in original on the day of interview, Xerox copy/scan copy will not be accepted) and recommendation letter from guide (PhD and Master which ever applicable, highest degree) without which candidate will not be considered for interview (mandatory document to be uploaded in online form and to be produced in original on the day of interview, Xerox copy/scan copy will not be accepted).

11. Date of Interview / written test may be changed due to administrative reasons. Hence, candidates are advised to check website before appearing for Interview / written test.
12. Since the project positions are purely on temporary basis, no benefit of Provident Fund, Leave Travel Concession, Medical, etc. will be available to the appointee.
13. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification / experience will not bestow any guarantee of selection.
14. AIIMS, Guwahati retains the liberty to either modify or cancel or publish afresh, this vacancy circular.

listing Criteria
i. In the first instance, all the candidates who fulfill minimum eligibility in respect of age, educational qualifications and experience (wherever required) shall be short-listed.
ii. All annexure should be submitted as per annexure provided and should be complete
iii. Recommendation letter as mentioned should be submitted from specified concern authority as mentioned.
iv. If the number of such shortlisted candidates is high and it is not possible to call all of them for interview, then PI shall further shortlist the candidates, on the basis of some suitable short listing criteria, as may be fixed by PI (May vary from case to case)
v. An MCQ test may be conducted if candidate number is high.
vi. Laptop/Tablet, logarithm table, digital diary, mobile phone, smart watch, Bluetooth Devices / earphones / ear buds, other electronic gadgets, text books, notes etc., will not be allowed inside the Examination Hall / Interview
vii. The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test / interview subject to qualifying the skill test, wherever applicable

Important dates
1. Last date of submission of online form : 12.11.2026 (6:00pm)
2. Last date of submission of hard copy : 13.11.2026 (6.00pm). Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted or entertained. Hard copy of the application with all supportive documents (self attested) along with filled annexures to be deposited in the security office, medical college building, AIIMS, Guwahati by post/ by hand (should be entered in security register)
3. Date of Interview & Venue : 16.11.2026, Monday (Tentative date), reporting time at 08:00 AM in the Department of Ophthalmology, AIIMS Guwahati. In case of any change, the same will be conveyed to the candidates via notification in the official website of AIIMS Guwahati under recruitment section (research).
Mode of Interview : Physical only
